Performance has always been in the background of my work and life. Collaborating with people has inspired me to delve into performance independently from other mediums.

June 5th, 2014 we will be presenting a video of our shadow exploration collaborative project. We have enough material to produce several versions of this piece, and plan to experiment further using editing, theater, and music in both live performance and digital forms. The first iteration of an interactive set involving balloons, this was a performance I directed a few years ago while I was still a student at the Cooper Union. Since then, I have collaborated with Mark Ressl on some performances involving balloons and very simple, monotone sets, which I feel have stylistic similarity to this early piece.

I painted portraits from life of every member of one architecture class at the Cooper Union. Each portrait took an average of 1.5 hours, all oil on canvas.
